Spool Table Fixer Upper

Remember the spool side table I showed you a little while back?

The one that I got at a yard sale for $2?

I gave it a little paint job.

This spool was pretty rough, so I sanded it and gave it a distressed look after I got done painting. Goodness knows it's gonna get distressed around this house anyways. It actually is a great size for a side table. I've seen other bloggers and Instagrammers say that their hubby's have access to these at work, so ask around or send out a bulletin that you'd like one, or three. :)

The lamp came from a thrift store and the pillow from TJMaxx's clearance aisle.

I had seen this little galvanized tray at Michaels and didn't get it. I got home and started thinking that it would have been the perfect size for this. Well, if you watch, they will put out mobile coupons that give you an additional percentage off your total purchase, including sale items. A few days later one of those coupons came out, so I ran back to get it.

The little wooden tag came from their $1.50 aisle. It used to be $1 aisle and I'm still bitter about the price increase. HA! The 5 stands for how many is in our family, in case anyone wondered.

I think I really like it. :)

    1. Yes! Can make a total difference. Of course, I've had some make a total difference in the negative direction. Haha.

  3. Your table is very cute, I like it both unpainted and painted. Your vignette is nicely put together too!
