Dreamy Whites

I don't know about the rest of you, but I know that in all the chaos that is Mommy life, I need a "me" place. My calm place is our bedroom. The soft whites and neutrals are serene and calming. And with a house full of rowdy boys I need all the serene I can get, can I get an Amen?

I got all crafty this week and made a few pillows. I love this Mr. and Mrs. one, and it was so easy to paint!

The lamp shades from Target add a little pop of color. The print is from Dear Lillie. Seriously, I have to stop looking at their shop because I get drool all over the place. It's just that good.

And that's it. My happy place. 

It's where I go to unwind. To forget about all the drama of the day... the overflowed toilets, the legos in the vents, the red marker drawings on the sofa, the burnt dinner, and a host of knock-down-drag-outs amongst boys and occasionally cats... yeah, all that stuff.

Every Mom needs a calm place. Because we have to get recharged and ready for the next round!
